Terms of Service

The Fox Salon wants to leave you with the best impression possible. We believe in having clear terms of service in addition to open and transparent communication with our clients. If you have any questions about these terms or about booking an appointment at The Fox Salon, please reach out to us.

Booking Policy

At The Fox Salon, we only accept major credit cards, including Apple Pay, as payment. No cash, checks, or other forms of payment are accepted. Gratuity can be paid in cash if preferred.

A valid credit card is required to hold and secure all appointments. Payments with other cards are accepted.

Once an appointment is booked, it is considered confirmed. We send communications for scheduled appointments as a courtesy. Not receiving these communications does not release the client from adhering to our confirmation and cancellation policies, including applicable charges.

By booking with us, you agree to our booking and cancellation policies, which authorize any fees to be automatically charged to the stored credit card.

Cancellation Policy

- Minimum 48-hour notice required for cancellations or rescheduling.

- Cancellations within 48 hours of the appointment start time will be charged 50% of the total scheduled services.

- Cancellations within 1 hour of the appointment start time or no-shows will be charged 100% of the total scheduled services.

Late arrivals may result in partial or total service cancellations or changes, with a minimum charge for the originally booked services.

All cancellation fees will be automatically charged to the credit card on file, unless an alternative credit card payment is provided at the time of cancellation.

Service Changes and Fees:

- Removal or changes to scheduled services within 48 hours of the appointment start time will incur a 50% cancellation fee.

- Removal or changes to scheduled appointments within 1 hour of the appointment start time will result in a charge of 100% of the total canceled appointment or the original booked service total, unless adding an alternative service or extending the time exceeds the originally booked service total.

Adjustment Policy

At The Fox Salon, your satisfaction is our priority. If you're not completely satisfied with our service, we're here to help.

Your hair is only guaranteed (insured) when you invest in the recommended shampoo and conditioner directly through The Fox Salon.

We don't offer refunds, but we're happy to schedule an adjustment service to insured guests with the same stylist at no extra cost. One adjustment per guest.

To schedule an adjustment, please notify us within 72 hours and book an appointment within 7 days of your original service.

If you choose a different stylist, there may be a payment difference.

Certain situations, like color correction or using box color, the desired goal requires multiple steps/visits, or guest adjusted their own hair or have another artist adjust their hair. May disqualify you from a free adjustment. These cases will be charged at $70/hour.

Once your desired result is achieved, your stylist will guarantee your hair.

*This will be outlined in The Fox Salon's Multi-Step Color Agreement and explained to you by your stylist.

Children

Due to lack of space, liability issues, timing delays, and safety hazards, children under 12 are not permitted to accompany parents to the salon. Services for children under 12 are not available at this time. Services for children over 12 are available with the service pricing being the same as adults.

Retail Exchange Policy

At The Fox Salon, we want you to be completely satisfied with your retail purchase. If you're not happy with your in-salon retail purchase, we offer an exchange policy.

Exchange Period and Condition:

You can exchange your retail item within 14 days of purchase, as long as it's in new condition.

Exchanges and Service Costs:

Exchanges are only applicable to retail items and cannot be used for service costs or gratuity.

Price Difference and Sales Tax:

If you exchange for a higher-priced item, you'll need to pay the price difference and any applicable sales tax. We'll help you find a suitable product within your desired price range.

Exchanges for Lower Priced Items:

If you exchange for a lower-priced item, the price difference will be credited to your client account for future retail purchases.

Stylist Rescheduling Policy

If your scheduled stylist is unavailable on the day of your appointment, we offer the following options for rescheduling:

a. Rescheduling with the same stylist: If your preferred stylist is unavailable, we will provide you with the next available appointment with that stylist. We understand the importance of maintaining a consistent relationship with your stylist and will do our best to accommodate your preferences.

b. Rescheduling with another stylist: If your preferred stylist is unavailable or if you're open to trying a different stylist, we will offer you the next available appointment with another highly skilled stylist in our salon.

Notification of stylist unavailability: We will notify you as soon as possible via phone call, email, or text message if your stylist becomes unavailable for your appointment. We will discuss available options for rescheduling.
